Hometown: Merrick, NY (but I've lived in Philly for the last 14 years)
Current Location: Northern Liberties
All-Time Favorite Band: No Doubt
This Month's Rotation: Catbite's entire catalog; "Blackberry Marmalade" by Vince Staples, "Bug In The Cake" by Violet Grohl, Brigitte Calls Me Baby's Irreversible.
Concert Bucket List: Shania Twain - I wholeheartedly believe she is one of the most talented musicians of our time, and she is insanely underrated.
Favorite Philly Venue: The Trocadero (RIP); Union Transfer as far as active venues.
Best Concert: The Sounds @ The Stone Pony in Asbury Park, 12/2016; No Doubt @ Hammerstein Ballroom, 2/2003. VERY honorable mention: Paul McCartney @ Firefly 2015!
Do You Play an Instrument? Sort of piano but not really; I've also owned 2 bass guitars in my life and still haven't learned how to play. Soon!
First album you remember buying: Ace of Base's The Sign.

Justin Stercula (he/him/his)
Co-Founder & Assistant Editor
justin@musicjawn.net
Hometown: Glen Mills, PA
Current Location: Fishtown
All-Time Favorite Band: Nine Inch Nails
This Month's Rotation: Kurt Vile, The Bronx, Die Spitz, They Are Gutting a Body of Water, Poppy, The Beths, Hotwax, Pom Pom Squad, Sasami, Knocked Loose, Spiritbox
Concert Bucket List: David Bowie, which is obviously an impossibility, pending the invention of time travel tourism. RIP, king.
Most Frequented Venue: Tie between The Fillmore and Johnny Brenda's
Best Concert: Overall, Rage Against the Machine, favorite is NIN on pretty much every tour on account of my Trent Reznor fanboy-ism, best production was Beyoncé, best performance chops was Jack White.
Do You Play an Instrument? Guitar since I was 12 (December will mark 25 years of wannabe rock star-ism and sitting on dozens of demos. Wanna start a band?). I also play bass by default of playing guitar for so long, and I'm a self-taught, shitty drummer from my instrument-swapping band days. I played piano when I was a kid, but almost immediately ditched it in favor of the guitar.
First album: 'Americana' by The Offspring was the first CD that was officially "mine" and not just shared within the household. First CD I remember listening to of my own accord was Queen's 'Greatest Hits.'
