A little rain couldn't keep a big crowd from showing up to Low Cut Connie's South Philly Street party. People gathered on Passyunk Ave.–outside of Ray's Happy Birthday Bar–to catch Low Cut Connie perform songs from their new album, Livin' in the USA. During the show, singer Adam Weiner jumped into the crowd to dance along with people young and old. Traffic and unknowing passersby stopped to witness the electrifying performance and jubilant crowd. Adam addressed the crowd to relay the importance of diversity–not only in South Philadelphia, but everywhere. The street party was a hit, and something South Philly residents will talk about for years to come.
