Exciting news for Philly Emo fans! Though they've been MIA for the last 8 years, Philadelphia's Modern Baseball have announced an expanded re-release of their 2015 EP, The Perfect Cast. The expanded edition, titled MOBO Presents: The Perfect Cast LP feat. Modern Baseball; 30th Anniversary Edition, includes all six songs from the original release, plus an extra seven tracks live acoustic versions recorded during the promotional tour surrounding the original release.

In an Instagram post earlier today, the band ended their re-release announcement with a very cryptic "talk soon 💞 ✨," driving fans to the comments section. The group announced an indefinite hiatus in 2017, culminating in two sold-out shows at Union Transfer in October of that year, after which co-lead vocalist Jake Ewen focused all of his energy on his solo project, Slaughter Beach, Dog.

MOBO Presents: The Perfect Cast LP feat. Modern Baseball; 30th Anniversary Edition is will be released on Lame-O Records November 14, 2025. It is available for preorder now on vinyl, CD, and digital both through the band's website and Bandcamp accounts.
