Pat King, lead singer of Philly's "Maximum Alt-Country" band Labrador, has partnered with Brooklyn-based PR virtuoso Caitlin Hughes to launch a new PR firm, Sound & Vision, as reported by Deadline.

Hughes, a veteran publicist for the independent film scene, will continue to represent film clients through Sound & Vision. King will head up the music arm of the company. The two have been collaborators for over a decade, and as per their website, the venture "is meant to bridge the gap between different forms of media, approaching it in thoughtful, creative ways."

Labrador's most recent LP, My Version of Desire, was released in May 2025 and is available for purchase via their Bandcamp page. You can catch them live at Kung Fu Necktie on January 9, 2026 with Jewel Case and Dominy.
